In this workshop we will look at how you develop lake pigments from botanicals in order to be able to make oil-based printmaking inks. We will work on grinding our own botanical pigments and creating the oil-based medium. You will also get to experiment with oil-based relief printmaking using botanical materials and the inks you have created.

All materials are provided (though you are welcome to bring your own foraged materials).

You will be able to take home sample inks.
