











In Contact with Trees (Workshop I)
This eco-art workshop focuses on relationship between deforestation and climate change, addressing the importance of preserving and maintaining trees (particularly ancient and deciduous).
Activities:
Reflective walk around the grounds of Krowji Studios interacting with the trees. This walk will include:
grounding mediation to support wellbeing in the face of climate grief, anxiety and rage
foraging and gathering materials to print with later in the workshop
practices of more-than-human storytelling as a means of perspective taking and empathy building
Discussion as a group around our feelings about climate change, and how we build strategies for wellbeing, adaptation, resilience and agency.
Printing with beautiful home-made, plant-based inks on rice and rag papers, and an introduction to my own contact printing method.

The studio is ground floor with wheelchair access.
An accessible toilet is next door to the studio.
There is a disabled parking space a few metres from the studio doors.
There is free parking on site on a first come, first served basis. It is a working studios so work days will be busier. There is an overflow car park a short walk from the studio.
Refreshments
Break-times will be built in to the schedule.
Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.
A vegan/vegetarian snack will be available at break time.
Materials
All materials are provided (though you are welcome to bring your own foraged materials).
You will be able to take home sample inks.
