








In Contact with Earth & Stone (Workshop 3)
This workshop focuses on the impact of soil erosion and mineral extraction, looking at positive moves forward such as permaculture, regenerative agriculture and rewilding.
Activities:
Three Sisters planting - focus on wellbeing through direct connection to the soil and living things.
Printing using turmeric sun printing and earth-based pigments
Discussion around the issues around how we take from the earth and what we can give back. An introduction to permaculture principals and how they are more than just gardening!

The studio is ground floor with wheelchair access.
An accessible toilet is next door to the studio.
There is a disabled parking space a few metres from the studio doors.
There is free parking on site on a first come, first served basis. It is a working studios so work days will be busier. There is an overflow car park a short walk from the studio.
Refreshments
Break-times will be built in to the schedule.
Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.
A vegan/vegetarian snack will be available at break time.
Materials
All materials are provided (though you are welcome to bring your own foraged materials).
You will be able to take home sample inks.
