Eco Queer Joy Workshop (Falmouth Trans Collective)
Come to Kennels Cottage at Tehidy Country Park for a workshop exploring Queer Eco Joy! We will start with a cuppa and discuss what Queer Eco Joy might mean to each of us. Jay and Elizabeth will then introduce you to some printmaking and collage methods that use direct contact with the environment around the cottage. We use these methods to create individual and collaborative prints, using printmaking to connect with the landscape, each other, and our own bodies.
You will be using handmade botanical inks and have a chance to make your own linocut figure. Everyone is welcome, and no previous printmaking experience is necessary.
Looking forward to seeing you there for an afternoon of printmaking, experimentation and play!
When: 7th December, 1pm to 3pm
Where: Kennels Cottage, Tehidy Country Park, Camborne, TR14 0TW
Directions: Set Sat Nav for North Cliffs Car Park, Tehidy Woods. https://share.google/dWkwhxm5Wlar3C0yQ
(If you set your sat nav for Kennels Cottage directly, it will try to take you through the woods on roads that are off limits except to Rangers.)
Placing the car park on your left, drive to the next gate marked “Rangers Office”. Follow the road down to Kennels Cottage. Park behind the house.
